My drawing is a picture of the sun setting behind some mountains. In front of the mountains, there are pine trees. The reflection of the mountains and trees are shown on the lake in front of the trees and mountains. In the very front, there is a small area of grass. I created my drawing by starting with the mountains and then drawing the sun setting. Next, I drew the pine trees and their reflection along with the reflection of the mountains and the sun. Last, I drew the grass for the foreground. To complete everything, I then added color to everything besides the white on the mountains. The big idea of this piece was to show the relationship between the sunset and water. I believe that the reflection of the sun and the colorful sky from the sun setting flatters the water. My goals were to add lots of color and to draw something that takes up the entire page but something that is relaxing and visually pleasing. I was inspired by a picture I found online of mountains for reference and another picture that showed pine trees from a long distance and their reflection on a large body of water. My picture is special because it took me a lot of time out of school so I could make it to the best of my ability. I also grew up seeing the mountains everyday and mountains have always been something in my life that makes me really appreciate the beauty of my surroundings when outdoors. This picture shows the beauty of the colorful sky reflected onto water, along with how the large mountains flatter the whole image. My drawing is unique because it is focused on the beauty of nature and focused on the picture as a whole how all the colors flatter each other instead of it behind focused on a single subject. There are details to look at throughout the whole piece. However, I did struggle in the beginning with this.
This project was for my classes kill the pen unit. Our goal in this project was to kill or use all the ink a black bic pen. This unit was for the class to draw a myth or a legend. I discovered slenderman as a child and he always scared me growing up. That is why I chose to draw him. I first started by drawing him and my teacher recommended to me that not only I add trees, but I add a reflection of slenderman on a body of water in front of him. I spent a lot of my free time coloring in the background as well as a lot of my time in class. I could have have added more detail to the reflection of him and the child and I could have colored the background to the point where there was no white. The trees also could've had more detail.
Charcoal Figure Drawing. I made this drawing because I used to be gymnast and it reminded me of doing the splits during practice. I learned some of the shading by examining other artist's drawings with shading especially ones of other dancers or gymnasts. I made it so the light source was coming from above. I think I could have improved the shading on the legs but I really like the shading I did on the back.

Mixed Media Landscape. This piece was made out of several pieces of magazine pages containing large bodies of water and light blue skies. I collected many different shades of blue squares along with two mountains and various shades of sand. Then I glued each square piece by piece and It resulted in something I find to be really cool. When you first look at it, it looks kind of confusing and one may not be able to determine what they're looking at, however all the different pages and colors combine to show a beach, a line of trees, large mountains, and blue skies.

This is my colored pencil graphite project. The whole background is black and white while the only part of the project that has color is the pothos leaves I drew in the front of the whole scene. I used my own pothos plant to draw the leaves. For the mountains, I realized they resembled my first project which had mountains as well. This is simply because I used the same style to draw the mountains in both pictures. I am proud of this project not only because of the time I put into it but because in my opinion it shows a message. That message is that without the beauty of plants, this Earth would be so dull. Despite the fact that there is so much beauty within mountains and water, without plants,
